LeonidesArts NY and the Brooklyn Community Pride Center proudly present the NYC premiere of “TURN OF THE CENTURY,” a solo exhibition of recent work by multi-media artist and curator Ricardo Osmondo Francis. With its premiere last year at the East End Studio Gallery in Houston, TX, this transcendent exhibition was an exemplary reintroduction to Francis’ engaging yet enigmatic oeuvre. For it’s New York premiere “TURN OF THE CENTURY” again features an eloquent selection of paintings and drawings the artist has developed within the last few years. Both revelatory and enlightening, this exhibit visually impels a sumptuous imaginative existence of humanity brimming in spiritual symbolism all while subtly commenting on a variety of social-political issues and themes.
“TURN OF THE CENTURY” will run until Monday August 31, 2015. The opening reception is free to the public and includes a special guest dance performance by Zullo/RawMovement, with choreography by John Zullo.
